      OCIMF Vessel Inspection (SIRE-OVID)

      Marine Surveyor Consultant inspectors are accredited by the Oil Companies International Forum (OCIMF) to perform SIRE & OVID Inspections.
      SIRE & OVID Database is an inspection protocol that will allow project and marine assurance teams to assess the safety and environmental performance of a vessel and its operators in a more effective and uniform manner.

      Pre-Vetting Inspection (SIRE-CDI-OVID-RIGHTSHIP)

      PRE-PURCHASE SURVEY


      A pre-purchase survey comprises a comprehensive and detailed inspection of the boat with regard to its condition. Besides a general examination of the hull, deck, superstructure, and interior for general deficiencies and damages, the boat will also be checked for operational readiness and safety.       Pre-Purchase inspection / Condition Survey

      Flag State Inspections

      Flag State Inspections are required by the Flag States to ensure that vessels under their jurisdiction demonstrate satisfactory standards on board.


      Flag State Inspections are mandatory to be performed annually to ensure Safety at Sea, Prevention of Human Injury or loss of life, and avoidance of damage to the environment, in particular to the Marine Environment and to the Property of each vessel.

        Terminal Safety Survey

        For charterers, operators and terminals, we can perform safety supervision of vessel operation during her entire port call. Vessel crew and equipment will be observed on the spot during cargo, cleaning, sweeping, pre-wash and bunker operations. In case of deviations from safety procedures operations will be stopped and corrective action taken, upon request followed by crew training. Included is the check of correct use of PPE (personal protective equipment) and the various checklists in use: SSSCL (ship shore safety checklist), checklists for STS (ship to ship) operations and "tank entry permits".
